For any Rocky fans out there this was an excited bit of news. A spin-off of the boxing franchise is in the works set to premiere November 25th, 2015. The movie will star Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan.
Adonis Creed, son of late boxer Apollo Creed, is in need of a trainer and mentor. Former World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Balboa steps in for the son of his friend and former rival. Michael B. Jordan will be stepping into the role of Adonis, and Sylvester Stallone will be reprising his role as Rocky Balboa for the seventh time.
Apollo Creed was the rival boxer of the very first Rocky movie and was played by Carl Weathers. It will be interesting to see if this movie will warrant another epic franchise. Watch the trailer below:
